Keratoconus is a condition in which the cornea becomes thinner and develops a cone-like bulge, which causes visual distortions. We diagnose keratoconus and offer corneal treatments such as corneal transplant surgery, Corneal collagen cross-linking, scleral lenses, and Intacs® to restore the shape of the cornea.
Pterygium is a pink or red benign growth on the white of the eye. This condition can cause astigmatism, irritation, blurred vision, or stinging. In serious cases, we can remove the growth and transplant your own tissue to replace it.
We offer both full-thickness and partial (DSAEK) corneal transplants to treat infection, trauma, and keratoconus. DSAEK is less invasive and generally requires a shorter recovery time. Our ophthalmologists will evaluate your corneas to determine which treatment option is best suited to your needs.
